El pelotero cubano Yasiel Puig, en entrevista con Excelsior, auguró que los Dodgers se impondrían ante los Astros en el partido de ayer martes, y llegarían hasta el séptimo encuentro para definir quien se coronará como campeón del Clásico de Otoño.

Tras 29 años de sequía, Puig afirma que el conjunto azul, se ha preparado para alcanzar grandes logros: “Desde la pretemporada, este equipo se preparó a fondo para alcanzar los máximos logros. Ya cumplimos varias metas, como el jugar en este momento la Serie Mundial, ahora sólo nos falta el objetivo principal, que es ganarla”, dijo el cañonero cubano.

Asimismo agradeció el apoyo recibido por los fanáticos angelinos durante la temporada regular y, sobre todo, en esta postemporada, en la que van con todo por la corona de la Serie Mundial 2017 del béisbol de Grandes Ligas.

También señaló que se encontraban bien positivos, y muy contentos, en el momento en que los Astros de Houston iban a la delantera.

“Es una victoria, baby, una victoria”, escribió Puig en su cuenta de Twitter, tras la victoria de los Dodgers en el sexto juego en Los Ángeles, California.

“Llegó el tiempo del Séptimo Juego y quizá el tiempo de Yasiel Puig”, afirma El Nuevo Herald, haciendo alusión a la vehemencia con que Puig afirmó, estarían defendiendo hoy el título de campeones en la Serie Mundial.
