La policía de Miami Dade está buscando a un hombre que ha aterrorizado a su expareja luego de aparecer en su ventana con una escopeta.
El inquietante incidente fue captado en cámara cuando el hombre identificado como Odis Grimes utilizaba una escopeta para romperla ventana de la vivienda.
Grimes revisó la puerta y luego puso el cañón de la escopeta a través de la ventana rota antes de caminar hacia el frente de la casa donde según la policía hizo aún más daño, disparando el auto de la víctima.
La víctima dio declaraciones a WSVN News desde el anonimato pidiendo la ayuda de la comunidad para localizar a Grimes quien desde el incidente a mediados de octubre está en paradero desconocido.
De acuerdo a la víctima hace más de 10 años que la relación entre ambos terminó pero Grimes continúa aterrorizándola.
«Él quiere estar conmigo, y yo no quiero estar con él. Esto ha estado sucediendo desde 2008. ¿Sabes cómo eres joven y crees que te quieren? Siempre ha sido así desde 2008. Simplemente empeora con el tiempo ”, dijo la víctima que se encontraba dentro de la casa durante del incidente.
De acuerdo a las autoridades Grimes tiene record criminal.
En 2017, fue arrestado en Miami-Dade por robo y gran robo y en Broward por delito grave cuando una mujer dijo que «la golpeó en la cara», la persiguió y «le puso las manos alrededor del cuello y comenzó a estrangularla». Sin embargo, todos sus cargos de 2017 fueron retirados.
En 2018, Grimes fue arrestado nuevamente. Esta vez, por robo, y a principios de este año Grimes fue acusado de golpear en la boca al padre de la víctima.
La víctima puso una orden de alejamiento el año pasado pero eso no evita que Grimes siga acercándose a ella.
La última dirección registrada de Grimes fue en el vecindario de West Little River en Miami.
