El lanzador cubano Aroldis Chapman se está recuperando todavía de sus dolencias en el hombro pero así todo ya igualo su lanzamiento más rápido de 105 millas. El cubano Chapman lleva su preparación con el equipo Carolina Mud Cats y en su juego contra Chattanooga Tennessee hizo el lanzamiento de 105 millas. El entrenador encargado de su recuperación afirmo que Chapman está físicamente bien, que solo presenta un problema mecánico. Chapman fue enviado a triple A para que pudiera recuperarse sin la presión de la gran carpa, su manager en los rojos dijo que lo importante es que Chapman tire muchos strikes.
