Hombre de Florida es la primera persona con síndrome Down en terminar un Triatlón Ironman

Un hombre de Florida hizo historia durante el fin de semana como la primera persona con síndrome de Down en completar un triatlón Ironman, una hazaña físicamente agotadora que lo ha llevado a los récords mundiales Guinness.

Después de nadar 2.4 millas, montar en bicicleta 112 millas y correr 26.2 millas en un solo día, Chris Nikic cruzó la línea de meta en poco menos de 17 horas el domingo.

Los médicos le dijeron a Nikic que no era capaz de terminar la carrera, pero lo hizo con mucho apoyo, mostrando algo tan inspirador como la voluntad y poder del espíritu humano.

Guinness World Records reconoció el logro de Nikic después de que terminó el reto en la competencia Ironman Florida en Panama City Beach.
