La cantante cubana Gladys Hernández quien viajaba a Bélgica para dar algunos conciertos en locales de la ciudad fue detenida a su llegada al país por autoridades de inmigración y todavía no ha sido liberada ni enviada a Cuba de vuelta. La cantante cubana daría los conciertos en la capital de Bélgica y algunos otros países de Europa con la banda «La Sonora Cubana» quienes fueron invitados por Mangrove Productions.
«Ninguna hubiera imaginado que una cosa así me podría suceder un día» dijo Gladys Hernández al diario «La Libre Belgique» «Me tratan de mentirosa y me encierran. Cuando vine a tocar a Alemania el año pasado, no tuve ningún problema» continuo diciendo la cantante cubana sobre su situación.
Gladys Hernández contaba con su visa en regla para entrar al país, la carta de invitación de Mangrove Productions y 600 euros en efectivo. La policía no encontró creíble las razones del viaje de la cubana ni entendió que contaba con los recursos para mantenerse en el país por lo que le ha negado la entrada. Las autoridades dijeron que la cubana no contaba con tarjetas de crédito (algo lógico porque en Cuba no existen para los cubanos) no tenia reserva de hotel y tampoco contrato de trabajo por lo que decidieron detenerla para su posterior expulsión.

que ridiculo!!! se supone que si ella viajo con visa y carta de invitacion es porque alguien se va ser cargo de ella…como es possible que belgica no sepa que las tarjetas de creditos no es comun en cuba?y mucho menos que un cubano viviendo en la isla tengo acesso a ellas..y que obviamente si va a cantar es por cuestiones de trabajo y no para turistiar.se supone que esta es la funcion del consulado en cuba que te entrevista y antes de ortorgar la visa verifica que alguien se hace cargo..le deberia dar verguensa a belgica que se se dice ser super anti dictadura y derecho humanos

La cantante cubana Gladys Hernández quien viajaba a Bélgica para dar algunos conciertos en locales de la ciudad fue detenida a su llegada al país por autoridades de inmigración y todavía no ha sido liberada ni enviada a Cuba de vuelta. La cantante cubana daría los conciertos en la capital de Bélgica y algunos otros países de Europa con la banda «La Sonora Cubana» quienes fueron invitados por Mangrove Productions.
