fueron arrestados 22 cubanos que quedaron atrapados en un arrecife cercano a Little Caimán.
Estos migrantes estuvieron arreglando su embarcación en las cercanías de Little Caimán y habían expresado que se irían “en breve”. Esto ocurrió en la mañana del martes.
La comandante de la policía de las Sister Island, inspectora Wendy Parchment dijo que «pudieron obtener una comida caliente y un baño». Más tarde los trasladaron a una instalación del Gobierno para llevarlos posteriormente a Gran Caimán por parte del Departamento de Inmigración.
Esta ruta es un escalón en el viaje a Centroamérica desde Cuba, que utilizan los cubanos para continuar hasta las fronteras entre EE:UU y México.
