Una pasajera se disponía a viajar este martes desde Orlando a Cleveland en un vuelo de la compañía Frontier, pero iba acompañada de un «animal de apoyo emocional», se trataba de una ardilla.

La mujer y su mascota fueron bajadas del avión por las autoridades, puesto que según el canal 6 de Miami, la compañía Frontier no permite viajar con roedores, incluidas ardillas, ni con reptiles, insectos, conejos, erizos, pájaros silvestres y otros “animales exóticos o inusuales”, ni con los que estén sucios o desprendan olor, recoge El Nuevo Herald.

La clienta había advertido al hacer la reserva que viajaba con un animal de “apoyo emocional”, pero no dijo que se trataba de una ardilla.

Al ser requerida la mujer se negó a abandonar el avión, y el personal de la compañía aérea tuvo que avisar a la policía.

El canal WKMG de Orlando informó que el suceso produjo un retraso de dos horas en la salida del avión del Aeropuerto Internacional de Orlando.
