Sayli Navarro, activista del movimiento opositor femenino Damas de Blanco, y los opositores Félix Navarro y Nelson Acosta, fueron arrestados el jueves al dirigirse a una reunión convocada en el municipio de Perico, Matanzas.

Los disidentes fueron detenidos cuando se dirigían al Parque Central de la localidad matancera, donde estaba previsto el encuentro.

Francisco Rangel Manzano, también opositor cubano, explicó a Radio Martí:

“Cuando (Félix Navarro) iba camino hacia el parque fue detenido (…) me acaban de llamar que se llevaron también a Nelson Acosta detenido”.

“Con ellos se encontraba su hija Sayli Navarro en el parque y fue detenida por un carro del Ministerio del Interior (por) el oficial Yuniel y otro oficial que no me dijeron el nombre y se llevaron a Sayli Navarro”, detalló Manzano.

Francisco Rangel comentó que a los tres activistas los intimidaron y les dijeron que no podían permanecer en el parque público de la provincia.

Según el disidente, está en pie un llamado para presionar por la liberación de los tres activistas.

“Hemos convocado a casi todos los municipios de la provincia de Matanzas, que si no liberan a estos hermanos nos vamos a presentar cada uno en nuestros municipios frente a la unidad de la policía”, subrayó.

Sobre los arrestos, Iván Hernández Carrillo informó en su cuenta de Twitter.
