Agrupación cubana Síntesis realizará varios conciertos en EEUU (Imagen tomada de redes sociales)
La agrupación musical cubana Síntesis prepara un pequeño tour por EEUU, presentaciones que llevará a cabo en colaboración con el Instituto Cervantes de la Universidad de Harvard, quien le cursó la invitación al grupo encabezado por Carlos Alfonso Valdés.
«Muy emocionados con nuestras próximas presentaciones!! Atentos!», comentó la agrupación en sus redes sociales.
Síntesis abrirá sus espectáculos el 30 de septiembre en el Millenium Stage del Kennedy Center, en Washington DC a las 6:00 pm; el 4 de octubre ofrecerá un recital en el Leverett House Library Theatre, de la Universidad de Harvard, y el concierto que cerrará con broche de oro el tour será el 5 de octubre en el Beehive Jazz Club, en la ciudad de Boston, Massachusset.
La página web de Harvard ha definido a Síntesis como un «conjunto emblemático de la música cubana» por la variedad, riqueza y estilo sonoro.
Asimismo indica que la agrupación fue «pionera en la fusión de la música ritual afrocubana con el jazz contemporáneo y la música rock a fines de la década de 1970».
