Aerolíneas como Air France, Cathay Pacific, EgyptAir, Emirates y Lufthansa implementan nuevas rutinas de seguridad en sus vuelos hacia Estados Unidos, según reporta The Associated Press.
Entre las nuevas medidas se encuentra interrogar a todos los pasajeros que se dirijan hacia el país, algo que proviene, según reflejó Lufthansa, de la Administración de Transporte de Estados Unidos, regulada por el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional.
«Además de los controles de los dispositivos electrónicos ya introducidos, los viajeros a los EE.UU. ahora también podrán enfrentar entrevistas cortas en el check-in o verificación de documentos», expresó la compañía.
Mientras que Air France tiene previsto realizar las entrevistas en el aeropuerto Orly de París y en el Charles de Gaulle, Emirates lo hará en las zonas de facturación y puertas de embarque.
Por su parte, Cathay Pacific Airways las llevará a cabo cuando los pasajeros dejen sus bolsos.
Las nuevas regulaciones llegan 120 días antes de que concluya el plazo otorgado a las aerolíneas para que cumplan con lo ordenado por la asministración de Estados Unidos.
