Ana de Armas ofreció una entrevista donde habló incluso de las críticas.

«Hice esta película para ver hasta dónde podía llegar, pensé que era una regalo a mí misma, no la hice para que otra gente cambie su opinión sobre mí. Esta película me ha cambiado la vida» dijo la cubana.

Ana de Armas se ha llevado muchos aplausos por su interpretación de Marilyn Monrooe pero también críticas de un sector que no la acepta por su acento hispano.
