Periodistas cubanos podrán concursar en la nueva edición del Premio de Periodismo Lorenzo Natali 2019 de la Comisión Europea, informa Martí Noticias.

Los periodistas podrán entregar sus trabajos con temas como desarrollo y erradicación de la pobreza, juventud, igualdad de género, salud, cambio climático, y otros.

Hasta el próximo 14 de abril se podrán entregar los trabajos al concurso, aquí te mostramos las diferentes categorías dentro de la premiación:

Gran Premio, abierto a periodistas cuyos medios tengan su sede central en uno de los más de 160 países beneficiarios con los que la UE trabaja en temas de desarrollo y cooperación. Cuba aparece en la lista.

Premio Europa, abierto a periodistas cuyos medios tienen su sede central en uno de los países de la Unión Europea.

Premio al mejor periodista emergente, abierto a periodistas menores de 30 años cuyos medios tienen su sede central en cualquiera de los 160 países ya mencionados.

El jurado elegirá a tres ganadores, anuncian que de no alcanzarse la calidad necesaria las categorías pueden declararse desiertas. Cada ganador recibirá como premio 10 000 €.

Quien resulte ganador en la categoría Mejor periodista emergente tendrá además la oportunidad de realizar una experiencia laboral en un medio de comunicación asociado.

La ceremonia donde se llevará a cabo la entrega de premios será durante las Jornadas Europeas de Desarrollo 2019, que se celebrarán los días 18 y 19 de junio en Bruselas.

El costo de los viajes de los premiados a Bruselas, será cubierto por la Comisión Europea.
