Como cada domingo, el movimiento opositor Damas de Blanco, sufre el acoso y el hostigamiento policial.

Alrededor de 30 activistas de la organización Damas de Blanco fueron detenidas este domingo en La Habana, Palma Soriano, Matanzas y Guantánamo, recogió Martí Noticias.

Luego de los arrestos en la capital, fue activado un acto de repudio frente a la sede del movimiento en Lawton, barriada habanera, detalló el disidente Ángel Moya a Martí Noticias.

Ángel Moya, esposo de la líder del movimiento, Berta Soler, y expreso político aclaró que en La Habana perpetraron 13 arrestos, 12 en Palma Soriano y tres en Guantánamo.

Aunque explicó que las cifras de detenidos podrían ser mayores, esclareciendo que “varias de las Damas de Blanco fueron puestas en libertad horas más tarde”.

También denunció que a la salida de la sede del grupo en el barrio capitalino de Lawton, las autoridades arrestaron a Berta Soler, Martha Sánchez y Yolanda Santana.

Moya dijo que aunque no las golpearon si fueron detenidas violentamente.

Señaló de igual manera que luego de los arrestos, “el Partido Comunista activó un acto de repudio con la protección de la Seguridad del Estado y la Policía Nacional”.

Iván Hernández Carrillo, también expreso político cubano, reportó a través de Twitter la detención de las Damas de Blanco durante este domingo.
