Llego a Cuba en el día de hoy el crucero MSC Opera, el más grande que ha llegado a la isla después de una travesía de 22 días iniciada en Génova (Italia) con 1,749 pasajeros.
La Habana será el punto de embarque del navío para su temporada invernal en el Caribe, prevista hasta abril de 2016, con escalas además en Montego Bay (Jamaica), Georgetown (Islas Caimán) y Cozumel (México), dijo el director ejecutivo de la firma italiana MSC Cruceros, citado por la estatal Agencia Cubana de Noticias.
MSC Cruceros, ubicada entre las cuatro mayores operadoras de cruceros del mundo, explicó que la temporada comenzará el próximo día 22 y especificó que el Opera hará 16 escalas en La Habana, en la que los turistas permanecerán dos noches y dos días, antes de seguir viaje hacia sus otros destinos en el área.
