El pelotero cubano Yoenis Céspedes, quien ha jugado para Grandes Ligas en Estados Unidos y que confirmó que jugará por Cuba en el próximo Clásico Mundial en el 2023 dio una entrevista con polémicas declaraciones.

«Yo salí de Cuba no por problemas políticos sino por perseguir un sueño» dijo Yoenis Céspedes al ser preguntado por su regreso a la selección de Cuba.

«Yo siempre dije que si cuando yo terminara en Estados Unidos podía representar a mi país lo iba a hacer con gusto» siguió diciendo Céspedes que actualmente juega en República Dominicana.
