Alexander Delgado, director de Gente de Zona y uno de los integrantes de la canción Patria y Vida aseguró hoy que fue obligado a saludar a Díaz-Canel en su concierto en La Habana.
«el único momento en que fuimos de «mal gusto- fue cuando nos obligaron a saludarte en nuestro concierto.» dijo alexander respondiendo a Díaz-Canel por sus críticas a Patria y Vida.
El saludo a Canel durante un concierto en la Ciudad Deportiva de La Habana le costó a los integrantes de Gente de Zona el repudio del exilio cubano en Miami y que se le retiraran las llaves de la ciudad.

Alexander salió del closet político hace algunos meses hasta su punto más alto en que participó en Patria y Vida que se ha convertido en un himno por la libertad de Cuba sin embargo Alexander en los momentos después del saludo a Díaz-Canel trato de justificarlo como un saludo normal.
