En horas de la mañana del domingo se incendió un automóvil en la esquina de Infanta y Amenidad, Municipio Cerro, muy cerca del Estadio Latinoamericano, en La Habana, dio a conocer en redes sociales el usuario Andy García.

Aunque no se alcanza a ver en las imágenes el modelo del carro, se puede apreciar que no se trató de un auto antiguo, según se aprecia en las fotos publicadas por García el auto quedó totalmente destruido, pese a los esfuerzos de los bomberos que acudieron a sofocar el fuego.

De acuerdo a la información publicada en Twitter, el incendio estuvo vinculado a un corte eléctrico dentro del automóvil.

El jueves pasado se reportó también un incendio de este tipo frente al Hospital Infantil William Soler, en la capital cubana.

Afortunadamente no se reportaron fallecidos o heridos en el accidente.

Otra de las causas fundamentales por las que se pueden estar reportando con frecuencia este tipo de incidentes en la Isla, es que en el país apenas se comercializan extintores para autos.

«Eso en Cuba es una tragedia de marca mayor… la mayoría de la gente no lleva extintores en los autos», lamentó el usuario @Dancuba96 en la citada red social.

«Justo eso se comentaba en los alrededores, si se llevara un extintor en cada vehículo, probablemente el incendio no hubiera llegado a tales magnitudes», contestó García.
