La Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Sarasota, Florida, informó que Charles Andrews, pastor de la Iglesia de Cristo Osprey, fue arrestado por posesión de cientos de imágenes de pornografía infantil, recoge Fox 13 News.
Según los detectives, los consejos del Centro Nacional para Niños Desaparecidos y Explotados mostraron que dos cuentas de correo electrónico pertenecientes a Andrews se usaron para descargar aproximadamente 70 imágenes de pornografía infantil.
Las direcciones de correo electrónico fueron rastreadas a la dirección IP de su casa.
Al obtener una orden de allanamiento, los detectives encontraron más de 500 imágenes de pornografía infantil en la computadora del hombre de 66 años, incluidas al menos 50 que muestran agresiones sexuales a un menor.
Las autoridades acusan al líder religioso de ser un delincuente sexual registrado, que fue condenado en 2006 por abuso sexual en segundo grado en Alabama.
Ni su dirección de correo electrónico ni su cuenta de redes sociales fueron informadas al Departamento de Cumplimiento de la Ley de Florida.
