El general venezolano, Jesús Alberto García Hernández, vinculado al presidente interino de Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, fue encontrado muerto en una habitación de hotel ubicado entre Caracas y Los Teques reportó la agencia EFE.
El general del Ejército venezolano Jesús Alberto García Hernández fue encontrado muerto el pasado 15 de mayo en un hotel entre Caracas y Los Teques, capital del estado vecino de Miranda, confirmó este viernes a Efe una fuente de la Fiscalía.
“Su cuerpo fue encontrado el día 15 de mayo en la habitación de un hotel en la carretera panamericana”, dijo la fuente sin ofrecer detalles sobre las condiciones en las que fue hallado el cadáver, aunque indicó que la Fiscalía ya inició una investigación por el caso.
Según medios locales en Venezuela, el joven general, de 39 años, era cercano al exdirector del Servicio Bolivariano de Inteligencia (Sebin), Manuel Ricardo Cristopher Figuera, quien lideró junto al jefe del Parlamento, Juan Guaidó, el fallido levantamiento militar del 30 de abril contra el Gobierno de Maduro.
Las mismas fuentes citadas por Efe aseguran que García Hernández fue encontrado muerto con su uniforme puesto y con un arma en la mano derecha y una herida en la cabeza.
El caso está siendo investigado como un homicidio.
