Miles de personas acudieron al parque de Bayfront Park en el downtown de Miami, para ser testigos de los autos de Formula 1, los cuales podrían protagonizar la segunda gran carrera del año en el país, si le conceden a Miami la sede.
Las festividades, que comenzaron el sábado, incorporaron una mezcla única de emocionantes carreras de autos en vivo.
A lo largo del fin de semana, los huéspedes pueden experimentar la carrera del Gran Premio de Fórmula 1 Pirelli 2018 de EE. UU. en Austin, que se transmite en vivo en Bayfront Park.
“Miami tiene las características necesarias para acoger este tipo de competencia”, declaró a DIARIO LAS AMÉRICAS el alcalde Francis Suárez. “Ojalá podamos llegar a un acuerdo para celebrar la carrera aquí”, señaló.
La diversión continúa el domingo desde el mediodía hasta las 7 p.m.
La Ciudad de Miami y la Fórmula 1 están trabajando para llevar una carrera a la Ciudad Mágica en un futuro cercano.
