Este domingo nuevamente un grupo de Damas de Blanco fueron impedidas de llegar a misa para pedir la libertad de los presos políticos en la Isla, alrededor de 21 mujeres que militan en el movimiento opositor fueron detenidas este fin de semana, en la capital cubana y en las provincias de Matanzas y Santiago de Cuba.

La líder del grupo Berta Soler fue una de las arrestadas, y su esposo el ex prisionero de conciencia Ángel Moya Acosta también fue detenido, recoge Martí Noticias.

Se registraron dos detenciones en La Habana, 17 en Matanzas y dos en Santiago de Cuba, de acuerdo a fuentes.

María Rosa Rodríguez, activista miembro de las Damas de Blanco denunció vía Radio Martí que el Partido Comunista de Cuba (PCC) “con la tolerancia y compatibilidad de la Seguridad del Estado inició un acto de repudio en el que vocearon consignas favorables al régimen y ofensas a las Damas de Blanco”.

Pero a diferencia de hace algunos meses atrás, activistas lograron burlar los cercos represivos, y asistir a misa en diferentes iglesias de la Isla.

“En Matanzas pudieron participar en misa 14 mujeres y en La Habana 10 en varias iglesias, aunque no pudieron llegar a Santa Rita por el despliegue policial de cada domingo”, mencionó la opositora.

Fue el domingo 153 en que de manera consecutiva la policía política impide que las Damas de Blanco marchen de manera pacífica.

Mujeres en Matanzas fueron abandonadas en lugares lejanos a sus viviendas, y de las féminas que fueron arrestadas en La Habana se desconoce su paradero como de costumbre.
