¿Histórico el problema del transporte en Cuba? Personas hacinadas en los ómnibus urbanos, el caro servicio de los taxis estatales, los boteros por su parte como se les llama a los taxistas particulares, el pasado año se vieron obligados a cortar los tramos a los pasajeros, porque el Gobierno los obligaba a cobrar una tarifa específica que para ellos no era rentable, esto sumado al asedio de inspectores y de la policía del tránsito, lo que ha provocado que en la Isla el régimen no facilite los traslados de las personas en su cotidianidad, pero impide que los particulares remedien la difícil situación.

Cubanos entrevistados por CubaNet opinaron:

“Bueno el servicio de taxis no está bueno, porque a veces tú lo pagas y te dicen que no van por donde tú vas, entonces siguen por donde quieren ir…y los coco taxis nunca los he cogido porque yo no cobro dinero en divisa”, explicó un señor mayor.

“Para mí el servicio de los taxis realmente no están acorde porque a veces por un tramo pequeño te quieren sacar demasiado…no hay servicio al ciudadano como tal, o sea deberían de bajar los precios, el costo de la “carrera” como le llaman ellos”, se quejó una joven, pero sin tocar para nada aspectos como la economía estatal y la centralización de la misma.

Turistas entrevistados también opinaron sobre el servicio de taxis:

“En cuanto al servicio de taxi me parece interesante dos imágenes que tengo, unos taxis actualizados” y otros antiguos, “y el servicio en cuanto al trato me parece muy bien, la gente cubana es muy hospitalaria, y los precios me parecen que son asequibles para moverse dentro de La Habana, o dentro de Cuba”, comentó un extranjero.

Según el reportero de CubaNet el transporte en Cuba muestra dos caras diferentes, una adecuada para los visitantes foráneos, y otra bien distinta para la población cubana, tanto las condiciones como el trato son bien diferentes.
